Who we are
Digital Hire Pty Ltd operates the Digital Hire marketplace at digitalhire.com.au. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
- Account data — name, work email, organisation, billing details.
- Usage data — pages viewed, searches, avatars saved, device and browser information.
- Deployment data — the actions your avatars take inside the tools you connect, and the reasoning logs for those actions. This is your data, held in your tenant.
How we use it
To run the service, bill you, secure the platform, and improve the product. Deployment data is used to operate your avatars only. It is never pooled with other customers' data or used to train an avatar for anyone else.
Where it lives
Production data is stored in the Sydney region by default. Enterprise customers can nominate another region or bring their own cloud. Some sub-processors (payments, email delivery) operate outside Australia; a current list is available on request.
Your rights
You can access, correct or ask us to delete personal information we hold about you by emailing privacy@digitalhire.com.au. Deployment data is deleted within 24 hours of a verified request. If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Cookies and local storage
We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in and a small amount of browser local storage for conveniences such as your saved avatars. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Notifiable data breaches
If a breach is likely to result in serious harm we will notify affected individuals and the OAIC in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Changes
We will post material changes here and email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect.
